course provides an overview of

Two day programLearn how to
plan and organize your small
office for growth, manage
communications between your
office and field staff and how
to build and coordinate your
management team.
Documentation and record keeping
will be covered. Legal
human resources issues will also
be covered concerning hiring and
supervising employees. You
will take home handy resources
including a turn-key human
resources policies and
procedures guide, employment
applications, etc.
There will be a $50
registration fee for this

As of July 18, 2008 all workers on
any public works project larger
than $250,000 must be certified
as having completed a 10 hour
U.S. Department of Labor OSHA-approved
10 hour training class.
Participants completing this
class will receive the necessary
course completion card from the
Department of Labor.
Course covers hazard
identification, avoidance,
control and prevention.
Training is intended for
construction workers, foremen,
job supervisors and anyone
involved in the construction
industry. Additional OSHA
training may be necessary for
certain positions. There is a
$50 registration fee for
employees of PA certified
M/W/S/DBE firms.
Registration fee for all others
is $75. |
