The Regional Alliance for Small Contractors, Inc. (RASC) was established in 1989, and incorporated as a non-profit organization in 1990, to provide programs that assist in the development of small, minority, and women-owned firms that provide services in the construction industry. The first program developed was our Managing Growth® classroom series. Ensuing programs were FiSC (Financing Small Contractors) and LEAP (Loaned Executive Assistance Program). See our "Programs" section for a snapshot description of our programs.

Support Services for Small, Minority, Women-owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises.

In addition to providing various services for S/M/W/DBE firms, we also provide support services to project owners and construction managers by developing and administering their Affirmative Action/EEO programs for implementation during the course of the construction project. See "Contract Compliance Services" section for more details.

A key focus of the Regional Alliance is to bring firms together in a venue that encourages networking and potential partnering. The Regional Alliance sponsors several events each year where S/M/W/DBE firms can learn about upcoming opportunities, exchange business cards and develop business relationships.
